Contents Page Progression

I have used a similar style for my contents page title as my masthead on my front cover, so it is a flow of synergy. I have also used the main colours red, white and black so you can see a simarlarity with the pages. I have made the masthead on this page alot smaller as I have made it clear on the front cover, what the name of the magazine is.

I have added my main image of my model, a music artist called Raya-Leigh. She is wearing a flower band in her hair as it what you see people wearing at festivals, so it also relates to festivals featured in the magazine and that would make her more likable by my target audience as she is similar age and does the same social things that they would do. The image also relates to my double page article as it is about her and a similar image.

The contents has now been added, I have made it look similar to the contents page I was looking at for inspiration, as I liked the simple layout. I have made the numbers bold and clear and given a short line of what the article is about on that page underneath.

The contents shows what is inside the magazine, so I have came up with stories that relates to the genre of the magazine as well as will be intresting to my target audience. My research has helped me come up with stories thats my target audience would like.

I have added 3 images of the 4 main festival signs and added text above and below which says 'Line-ups this year...what we think' I did this because my target audience always want know who will be playing at the festivals and whether it looks good or not.

This is my completed contents page, I have ensured that there are no spelling mistakes and added a red background behind my contents to break down the white background as I thought there was to much white, also the black clearly contrast's with the black text.
